The majority of the buildings are restored structures that are centuries old. They have been restored meticulously, stone by stone, to reflect the ancient methods of construction and architecture, which primarily relied on native stone, cement and mortar for the construction of its habitable dwellings. Great care has been taken in maintaining the look and feel of a medieval village, while at the same time trendy and modern elements have been added such as: high-tech accent lighting, up-to-date manicured landscaping, and sound interior and exterior finishes. All of the structures’ fixtures, windows, and finishes are of absolute new material, yet installed to mimic the surroundings.
